Fortitude was a crew that sailed the Viridian Ocean. The crew flew the flag of Rage.
History
Fortitude was originally founded by Haywoodx to necessitate his ability to run commodities for his various stalls. Though he has created and merged it into various crews 3 separate times, this 4th incarnation is an attempt to build and run a successful crew without the distraction of stalls, or merchanting.
Created on the 6th of December in the year of 2008, it took a mere 4 days to reach the necessary level of rumored to join a flag. There were many invites but only one was worthy of consideration. Poat had been friends with Haywoodx for quite some time so when she sent him a flag invite, he immediatley accepted. Keithbeard and his crew were also invited to join Vanity Rising and due to Haywoodx's and Keithbeard's intertangled past; Fortitude packed up and went searching for a new flag. Unaffiliated for a while; Fortitude declined many flag invites until Geadora approached Haywoodx about being a founding member of White Water Warfare. The issue was debated extensively among the senior officers and eventually accepted.
In a short week, Fortitude managed to get 20 new members, noted fame, and a position in a very active flag. It could be said that these are minor accomplishments but nonetheless, stepping stones toward bigger goals.
On January 18 2009, Haywoodx left Fortitude and left Pengupengu in charge although as of December Haywoodx was back and Pengupengu was gone.
