Filipeke
Filipeke is a cabin person in the crew White Rose and a member of the flag Blood and Roses. He was formerly a senior officer in the crew The Yellow Jackets and member of the flag Silver Dawn. He can be usually found roaming around the Alpha Island docks or the back of the inn. He is mainly known for being an easy-going person and a good mate to tell a story. Anyone looking for a good rumbling match can ask him as well.

History
Midnight
Filipeke started playing on the Midnight Ocean around March 2005. For some weeks he pillaged with random crews, pursuing odd jobs at the notice board until he earned enough PoE for his first piece of clothing, a green striped shirt. Considering his attire sufficient to present himself as a proper pirate, he then decided to look for a crew to join and quickly he found the Lil Lepracorns who were captained by Captincrazy at the time. Working diligently, a trait that would accompany him through his career, he rose quickly through the ranks achieving the position of senior officer, barely two weeks after his arrival.
War drums
War times came closer as Unity, the flag of his crew, decided to blockade Papaya Island. Filipeke took out a ship in the blockade that would go down in history as Papaya IV. He fought the best he knew, guiding his small crew and scoring a few points for Unity. In the end, despite hard attempt, the blockade was unsuccessful and his ship would become too damaged and thus forced to remove himself from battle.
(Almost) Birth of a great player
Not long after the failed War, Captincrazy decided to leave the crew and Fergio was made Captain as his replacement. Filipeke was made first mate and together they brought the crew to the peak of its power and glory, sailing Midnight and even proving themselves in a few conflicts. Although the Lil Lepracorns were growing, Unity was decaying. At the same time the crew achieved its peak of power, Fergio became dormant without appointing a replacement and the crew began to fade away once more. At this point, after much consideration and discussion with former crew members, Filipeke decided to leave in search for another crew. Months passed, however, and he kept jumping from crew to crew and job to job, working much like a hired sword and forgetting his older goals of getting a name in the ocean.
Not all is lost
Around March 2006, he found the Yellow Jackets. The once mighty crew of Azure was by now a mere ghost of its former self. Offering his services to the returning Captain, Cedric. Once again he quickly rose trough the ranks achieving the rank of senior officer and even getting titled as a reward for his hard work in bringing the ghost crew back into a fully active group. Due to many internal flag issues the title was revoked from him but besides that he kept an active presence in both crew and flag, including a failed attempt at becoming a Governor. During this time he decided to learn about being an admiral, but Midnight Armada could not provide him what he needed to improve, the Flag having fallen once more into inactivity due to the loss of Park Island. The tough decision of leaving was taken, for the Yellow Jackets had been his home for two years now. However, with the crew slowly going inactive, the dreaded choice was made. Today the Yellow Jackets are mainly a dormant crew, upon checking their dormant lists you find a perfect sized crew, just like the one it used to be a long time before. Thus he joined Falcon's Fury, a crew from Notorious Fandango. In the weekend that he joined, Notorious Fandango blockaded Eta island in a 5 round blockade and won it. Despite this victory,Filipeke felt great remorse for what he considered to be a betrayal of his ideals, quickly leaving the previous crew and deciding to join The Cartographers within the flag Silver dawn, losers of the previous blockade. Due to the war he was told he could only start promotion when it ended. Upon the end of the conflict, the promise was made true and soon he would fly the colors within his own ship, being promoted to Officer rather quick. Later, offers of promotion to Senior Officer and even once more, Royalty, were made, however the once ambitious pirate remained content in his Officer position, no longer desiring great responsibility.
The end
As the old days withered into dust, old friends and former flags vanished, Filipeke felt his time was long gone, in fact he had resisted as he remained far longer than the others. The option of playing on another ocean arose with a rather tempting offer of Admiralty, however as old memories returned, he instead decided to end his last subscription days chattering on Alpha island docks, helping newbies and sharing old tales of glory until it was finally over.
A tale
From time to time, mostly around Halloween it is said a certain "greenie" with a pink name walks the docks of Alpha Island, the name Filipeke hovering above it, although the vision never lasts longer than some minutes per year, it is said that the ghosts of old never truly left Mightnight, even after the merge. And as such remains, almost 15 years since it first began.
