Public Statement

A flag of Escapism! Welcoming crews that want to PILLY!!

Not currently looking for any alliances - that way we are free to choose who we help when we want, and if people don't like our choice, well tough luck - we play the GAME how we see fit.. :)

Also not looking to join another flag - as we have learnt that those claiming not to want drama are usually the ones full of it themselves. Been there, done that ~ not happening again :D

History

Created in September 2008, after the demise of the flag of Destiny, Exodus was originally to be a resting place of peace and calm for those few members that had founded it. Originally the plan had been to leave the main characters away from the flag, leaving them deleted in the depths of the Cobaltian archives.

Exodus' main crew Jedi Knights had been part of the flag of Resurrection early in its creation, however it was soon apparent that they held completely different ethics, morals, etc and Jedi Knights decided to return to Exodus. With a few Resurrection alts within its ranks, its fame grew and pillages were regular. However, those seeking drama within its ranks were removed and so the gates of entry to Jedi Knights were firmly closed and welded shut - recruitment was no longer an option to outsiders. As a result of this two of its founding members Jedi and Starfire were outed as Seadogpete and Scarpetta, so it was decided to recreate those original characters and place them in charge of the main crew and flag.

In its short history it had already been at war on one occasion following a somewhat random war declaration by the flag of Trust, believed to be a retaliatory measure following their earlier loss of Prolix Purlieu to Destiny. The war was short lived, with a single Jedi Knight soloing a sloop sinking ships from both of Trust's main crews at the time (a sloop and a war brig).

The flag was occasionally involved in small blockades and events, and the odd pillage. No affiliation with any other flag had given them the freedom to help who they wanted, when they wanted without the political ties of alliances. The hearty alliance has always far outweighed that of flag names on a flag page.
