Help

OK, I've tagged one page with {{Frequently asked questions}}, and it doesn't show.

Worse, if I search for "Frequently asked questions", and specify to search categories, this page isn't found.

But if I search for Category:Frequently asked questions, it is found.

What am I doing wrong? --Behindcurtai 04:28, 18 September 2006 (PDT)

why are you adding it as a category? are there other pages with questions that are answered?
why not just have a list of All the FAQ's here, with the contents box at the top for easy reference. I am not sure how this would need to be a category, then again, im no expert either -- Minimoses 06:10, 18 September 2006 (PDT)
To categorize something, you can add [[Category:Frequently asked questions]]. Templates are something I just don't get into, so I can't help you with creating that. And to answer your question on the actual article page, the templates for requesting help are {{helpme}} and {{helpmewith}}. That said, I'm not sure why the category is necessary. It would probably be more usful to link to Dynamic spawn from the foraging, commodity, and Commodities market pages. Just a thought, but I'd class "How do I make money?" and "How do I paint my house?" as frequently asked questions instead. --Zava 06:24, 18 September 2006 (PDT)
Ok, I had categories and templates mixed up. Thank you. --Behindcurtai 22:19, 18 September 2006 (PDT)

Redirects

What is the proper syntax for redirects?

The target page needs to be a link in the redirect syntax. --Thunderbird 22:24, 18 September 2006 (PDT)
OK, thanks, it seems to be working now.
