History
Beat to Quarters was founded on March 16, 2006 and by October 24, 2006 had become dormant. Founded by Sibrseadog of (at the time) Los Perros de Mar on the Viridian Ocean. It won a surprise victory in the Viridis Blockade on 2006-05-28.

When yer enemies topgallants peep over the horizon it aint time to parley, it is time to Beat to Quarters and clear for action.
We are here to pilllage and have fun in the full range of the game. We don't set out to have fun at other people's expense. If we fight and lose, we will congratulate the victor, then learn from the loss and come right back at yer.
We are also here to play the game in a fair way. We say what we mean. We do not make promises we cannot keep. We respect the way others play the game and ask them to respect the way we play.
