The /vessel command shares your message with everyone on the same ship as you. When using the /vessel command, your text appears only in the chat portion of the window, not in a word bubble. It is the default chat mode when on a ship, and only works if you are on a vessel. It is possible to still chat in a circle whilst on ship by either changing the mode to "speak" or prefacing your line with /speak (or /say).
/Vessel combines with /shout, /think, and /emote to send those types of messages to the entire vessel channel.
