Port Authority is a crew that sails the Viridian Ocean. The crew currently flies the flag of Pay for Play.

History
Port Authority was founded on 20 February, 2005 and is one of the first crews founded on Viridian. First created and lead by Tristan in the flag Pirates Gone Wild, Port Authority eventually joined the flag Pay for Play.
Before leaving the crew to found the crew, Mercenaries on 21 March, 2005, Tristan passed the captaincy of the crew to Ellie.
Later in August of 2005, Port Authority elected Female as crew captain when Ellie became inactive.
In November of 2005 Female stepped down and Gunblade was chosen to become the crew's captain.
The Arrgonauts, a crew that had many former Port Authority members, merged into Port Authority in February of 2006. Part of the merger included Circe becoming captain of Port Authority.

Ahoy and welcome to Port Authority! Educating the ocean one pirate at a time.
Everyone is welcome to join us, however ye are expected to work hard when ye pillage with us. And questions are welcome, we are here to help you become a good pirate.
Crew Articles
We have a few rules while jobbing with us. These rules are being used to keep the crewmates happy, so please abide by them :)
- You must follow the orders of the commanding officer on the ship.
- If you have to leave the ship during sea battle, it better be an emergency.
- During sea battle, make teams of 3 or 2.
- Please don't talk to the bnavver during sea battle.
- No Swordfight, Drinking, Treasure drop during voyage or any kind of lazing about. If there are free stations, take it.
- If you have any questions please ask an officer when the officer is not in sea battle or when he has time for you.
- Please do not ask to port, we will port when we feel like it.
- Please don't ask to be promoted, start a swordfight/drinking game, or ask any other random requests while we're at sea and busy. Please wait till we get to port.
- Please no cursing or spamming.
- If you annoy people or disrespect them, ye will be expelled.
- No begging. We all earn our own and if ye need some ye have to work for it.
- If you want know where someone is use /who and then the person's name.
- Use crew chat over tells when possible. If you have a question, that is the best way to get it answered.
- Always ask before boarding a ship whether at sea or in port. Private meetings take place often in port and many mates sail ships solo running commods. So, always ask before boarding or ye might get planked. If you do get planked, read your chat log to see why before reboarding.
