Nu Island is a large island serving as the capital of the Opal Archipelago. There four known routes from the island: Orca Island, Norse Island, Oseberg Island, and Endurance Island.

History

The Nu Island monument is located northwest of Holdem Foldem Cloth.

Nu I — 2004-09-25, Epic wins control of Nu in seven rounds, besting the second contender The Pirate Mafia.

Nu II — 2004-10-02, Saga (an alt flag led by an alt of Robertdonald) drops a war chest on Nu, attempting to draw support away from allies of Carpe Noctem at Luthien I.

Nu III — 2005-01-29, Notorious Fandango's first blockade effort is met by a vastly larger opposition led by Gladiators, who assist Epic.

Nu IV — On 2005-11-23, Epic merged with Black Sheep Brigade.

Nu V — 2006-5-7, Black Sheep Brigade succesfully defended Nu from Pirate of the Keys.

Nu VI — 2006-11-18, Blighted blockaded the island and conquered it on a 3-round blockade. Black Sheep Brigade didn't show up to defend Nu.

Nu VII — 2006-12-10, The Wrath of Neptune blockaded the island and conquered it on a 3-round blockade.

Nu VIII — 2007-04-01, Spirit of the Game attacked unsuccesfully and conceded after round 2.

Nu IX — 2007-09-22, Spirit of the Game attacked unsuccesfully.

Nu X — 2007-09-29, Spirit of the Game attacked unsuccesfully. The Wrath of Neptune reciprocated the war delaration before the third round, making it a sinking blockade.

Nu XI — 2007-10-13, The Wrath of Neptune disbanded prior to the blockade. Spirit of the Game was the only contender in the blockade and won the island.

Nu XII — 2007-12-15, Admiral Finius attacked unsuccesfully.

Nu XIII — 2008-02-10, Admiral Finius attacked (unsuccesfully) as a result of a scuttle.

Nu XIV — 2008-03-01, Admiral Finius attacked as a result of a scuttle. Due to successful interference from Morgan's Marauders (who wanted Finius to win), Spirit of the Game was not able to defend the island.

Nu XIII — 2008-03-09, Blood and Roses attacked and won an easy 3-0 victory.
