Callidice

Callidice is princess and second-in-command of Ellipse. She is also the wartime governess of Conglin Island.

Dramatis Personae

Callidice was born to a family of aristocrats that ran a small but successful trading company on the quiet shores of Midnight. Having no siblings, Callidice was immediately groomed to be the heiress to the Montgomery family estate and was arranged to be married to the Prince of the Montblanc Company, a rival trading faction. The marriage was set to resolve the ongoing conflict between the two flags and to establish a new lineage to ensure the survival of their trade lines. However, the arrangement spawned something that did not even remotely resemble bliss as Callidice refused to marry a frenchman. Her handmaidens quoted her saying "I do not marry the French; I sink them." The night before the ceremony, Callidice removed her tiara, cut off her gown, and donned her infamous white head scarf.

Two weeks later, she was discovered in Viridian Ocean, sailing as an officer for The British Eagles and as a hired merecenary for Requiem. Her reputation of being an impatient firebrand at battle navigating has earned her much respect and disdain from both her superior officers and rivals. The last blockade she navigated in was for the flag Star Explorers at Terra VIII.

In September of 2006, Karinam, Queen of Ellipse, called Callidice to the flag's royal court and crowned her as Princess. Callidice accepted the position on the grounds that for every French ship she destroys, she gets to sink two more.

Despite the blockade story that provided the origin of Macgreggor's eyepatch, Callidice was the individual who stabbed him with a fork after being inappropriately propositioned during a blockade.
