Poetry Death Match was a forum familiar event run by Jacquilynne of the Looterati in September–November 2005. Contestants took part in a double-elimination tourney with poetry as their weapons.
Prize Winners
Emerging victorious after fourteen grueling head-to-head matches, Drusilla won a pink octopus named "Prancer."
The contest also awarded prizes to three runners-up:

- Crystal - 3rd place - awarded the red/red cutter Peregrine Poet
- Squid - 4rd place - awarded the red/red cutter Tasty Snack Mackerel
