Zava (talk • contribs) – Zava has a long history of sound edits on the wiki, as well as content creation. She involves herself in as many discussions as possible and always yields to consensus on sticky matters. She is one of the most active editors in keeping Sage history and pages up to date. Her knowledge and experience with the wiki makes her a great candidate for adminship. Fannon 14:59, 12 June 2006 (PDT)

- Yes, yes, yes, a thousand times yes. --Ponytailguy 15:08, 12 June 2006 (PDT)
- Long-standing commitment to the YPPedia, good variety of contributions, high technical knowledge, forum experience and diplomacy; a great ambassador for the YPPedia. She wins my vote. --Featherfin 11:38, 13 June 2006 (PDT)
- Support. Zava's knowledge, Sage-leanings, even temperment and willingness to ask about things she doesn't know/isn't sure about will be an asset to the wiki. --Guppymomma 19:44, 16 June 2006 (PDT)
- Support. She's been around for ages and I've had nothing but pleasant experiences in dealing with her. --Yaten talk 22:10, 16 June 2006 (PDT)

- Guys, I know you're all eager to vote on this, but I poked around Wikipedia for info on this process; I found this. Turns out you're supposed to wait until the person accepts the nomination before adding it to the RfA section and/or voting on it (to keep people from feeling pressured and such). Just something we should probably consider next time. :) --Emufarmers 15:33, 12 June 2006 (PDT)
- Although our policies are modeled after Wikipedia, they are not all specifically adhering to everything on Wikipedia. While it wasn't noted in the text, I believe since Zava has previously declined nomination, that Fannon spoke with Zava beforehand to see if she would accept it this time. Our YPPedia community is small enough that there's no need to stand on ceremony and I don't think that anyone would actually accept adminhood out of peer pressure of a few support votes. --Guppymomma 16:06, 12 June 2006 (PDT)
- Fair enough: I saw that Zava had declined previously, and I didn't know if Fannon had spoken to her beforehand; I don't know if any of us are particularly susceptible to peer pressure, but it's always hard to have two people vote yes for you, and then to say you're not interested. We're only human, after all. :P --Emufarmers 16:11, 12 June 2006 (PDT)

Questions for the candidate
A few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:
- 1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? (Please read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.)
- A. I do feel it's my duty to step in and explain (or give people a hand) if they seem to need it, but in the past I've been careful to let people make the changes themself so they can learn how the wiki works. I also expect I'll continue to patrol Recent Changes as usual, just with a revert button in hand rather then doing things manually.
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to YPPedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- A. I am pleased with the periodic updates of the Sage pages, coupled with in-game nudging of prominent Sage players. This includes the familiar listings, crew and flag pages, and island pages. I've also (slowly) been working on adding images and information to pages that are lacking - Examples are all the exterior images of housing, the governor page, and the image showing how to create a flag. It's an ongoing project to document and fact-check the parts of the game few people see as well as quirky UI things like the create-a-flag location.
