Just an idea here - Would it, possibly, be a good idea to move the actual template to, say, Template:Basic pirate/template and make Template:Basic pirate say, essentially, {{Subst:Basic pirate/template}}? --Thefirstdude 9:52, 1 February 2007 (PST)
- No. Just type out the six extra characters. It's not a good idea to needlessly create complicated cascading referring templates because you don't want to type those six characters. --Guppymomma 09:59, 1 February 2007 (PST)
