Tedv started as a player, was hired as a Ringer, and then retired due to the difficulties working from a remote office. His contributions to the game included swordfighting drop pattern analysis, creation of shipwrightery, creation of the backsword drop pattern, and work on drinking's newest incarnation.
Before he was hired by Three Rings, he won a yellow monkey in the Monkey Dinner Bake-Off! in September 2004 on Midnight.
