Aqua Vitae is an independent, dormant crew on the Meridian Ocean.
The name Aqua Vitae is Latin, meaning water of life. This is an expression that usually refers to whiskey or some other distilled beverage.

History
Aqua Vitae was created on July 7th, 2007, on the retired Viridian Ocean by Cambiata with the help of her good friend Mistakemker. It soon joined the flag of Dark Sky. Then, Aqua Vitae joined the flag United We Stand where they stayed for most of the summer. In fall 2007 they joined the flag Sea Change, which they have called home ever since.

Crew rules
- Be nice to each other.
- Listen to the commanding officer if they ask you to do something.
- And the most important rule of all Have fun.
If you have any problems during your time in my crew please feel free to talk to me about it. I don't bite (usually).
Promotion requirements
If you are interested in joining Aqua Vitae just come talk to me or one of the other officers. We will be happy to discuss potential ranks with you. I DO NOT promote past the rank of pirate upon joining. There is a 3 day trial period before anyone is given the rank of officer so that you can get to know us and we can get to know you to make sure that AV is the place for you. The ranks of FO and SO are earned from within the crew and will not be given out until an individual has been with the crew for quite a long time.
Cabin person - Just ask when the officer in charge is available.
Pirate - Two piracy stats at broad and two stats at distinguished or higher (does not have to be the same 2 stats)
Officer - Have to have been with the crew for at least 3 days (to discourage crew hopping) and have the required stats to do the 'Fight Brigands' mission with the navy. Also should have a standing of at least master in one piracy skill and few stats of able.
