Mug decay
I've just verified that the goblet is on a 60-day decay cycle. Since it's the cheapest of the mugs, I think it's fair to conclude that all mugs really are 60-day items as was rumored. --Barrister 12:22, 22 February 2006 (PST)
Mugs in testing
Here's the new list of mug powers currently on Ice:
- Chalice: Pieces need not be played adjacent to other pieces. +5 points per neighboring piece.
- Flagon: Rows you win are worth 50% more points. (No change.)
- Goblet: +10 selection points. (No change.)
- Horn: Take two extra plays when completing a row. (No change.)
- Pitcher: +45 points when chugging.
- Skull mug: Extra play when playing fries, keg, or hook, but lose 40 points.
- Stein: +15 points for gained stains. -5 points for lost stains.
- Tankard: +50 points for each of your pieces in a row you lost. (No change.)
- Wooden mug: +5 selection points.
These might be tweaked further, too. --Barrister 22:07, 22 February 2006 (PST)
- These were the original thoughts posted by Arcturus in a GD thread. In addition, another thought was to eliminate the 2 doubloon cost on the Goblet. Obviously we can't check this while it's still on Ice.--Thunderbird 00:22, 23 February 2006 (PST)
Layout
Some of the text on each of the mug descriptions and decay rates are cut off, probably by something overlapping. --Sagacious 15:50, 30 March 2006 (PST)
mug pages
why does Stein Tankard and Wooden cup don't have their own pages, like other mugs?
- Wooden Cup now has its own page. --Behindcurtai 22:27, 21 February 2007 (PST)
Because I hadn't gotten around to it yet. Now I have. --Pintsizepete 12:59, 16 May 2007 (PST)
Cursed Chalice
That description does not seem grammatically correct to me. Is that what the game uses? --Thunderbird 05:59, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
- It's a slight re-word of what was written in the Ice Ocean changelog, methinks. --Belthazar451 07:18, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
- I was also following the similar style of the Chalice. -- Cedarwings (talk) 07:55, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
