Barney
Barney is a pirate on Hunter Ocean. He is a senior officer in the crew The War Falcons, and is a member of the flag Conclusive Inquisition.

Barney's pirate life began on November 5, 2007. After briefly joining the crew Sexaliciousness, he was recruited by Gerbils to The War Falcons in mid-November. Showing little initial interest in crafting or carousing puzzles, his hard work on the staples of duty puzzling paid off when he was promoted to the rank of Officer in early January of 2008, followed shortly by promotions to Fleet Officer on February 9 and to his current position of Senior Officer on April 26.
Most of Barney's spare time is presently spent memming; although he would like to eventually memorize the entire ocean, his immediate goal is to finish the Ursa Archipelago (in addition to his already completed Orion Archipelago & Pleiades Archipelago) due to the concentration of population and activity in those arches versus the rest. He also enjoys helping his in-game and real life wife, Catkinn, furnish their cottage on Aimuari Island.
Goals
- get standing in all duty puzzles to at least Renowned
- establish and maintain a reputation as both a loyal and dependable crewmate/officer and as a hard-working and desirable jobber
- retain a permanent spot on the Ultimate list for Carpentry
- get more experience leading pillages
- continue memming outside Orion and Pleiades
Noteworthy Achievements
- achieved his first navigation victory versus a Brigand King in his very first attempt by besting Admiral Finius while solo memming his sloop, Adventurous Herring, between Paihia and Maia on May 1, 2008
- won his first skull trinket after a 17-round fray on Alkaid Island that lasted roughly 2½ hours and spanned September 6-7, 2008
