This is Emufarmers's (formerly Caesarae's) crew, run with the support of our SOs and FOs. We pay jobbers as much as the rest of our crew.
We are proud and loyal subjects of Imbroglio and our flag, Regnum Irae. History
What is now known as Roman Navy originated as SPQR, the brainchild of Caesar. Its officers have included Mcgillicutti, Caesar's good friend, and Emufarmers, Mcgillicutti's brother, as well as Bencojo and Ksmfg, among others. Originally part of Scuppering Seven Seas, Roman Navy stayed with what became The Borg for some time, eventually leaving to form its own flag, simultaneously merging with Appleboy's/Apples's crew, Men of War, and with Ksmfg's crew, The Used, and ultimately ending up in Regnum Irae, along with Reckless Reptiles, with which the crew retains some association.
Over time, Roman Army's size diminished, as its members left for other things, but the crew's core oligarchy continued to have some involvement in flag affairs and blockades, thanks in part to Caesarae's considerable wealth (the crew actually had more ships than it did members), and though the advent of poker drew off some of the crew's base.
On March 10, 2006, the position of Captain was handed to Emufarmers; a few days later, Caesarae decided to leave the crew with Mcgillicutti for Brave New World, leaving the crew in Emufarmers's hands.
Since then the crew has increased in numbers, particularly officers, to a point closer to its former self.
