User pages are areas where anyone can put almost anything they want. Currently, YPPedia has very little restrictions on what you can put. As long as you keep your user page acceptable for people of all ages, it will be permitted. To create your user page, click on your username it the upper center of the page. This will automatically take you to editing it. Many people like to put Languages on user pages. This permits people to see what languages you speak. One method you could use to quickly set up a user page would be inserting A template(Usage). If you wanted to make a userpage from scratch (like most yppedia editors) you would first want to add a language box. You can do this using one of two ways. The first is the {{Language}} (Usage) template. For instructions on using this method, see Help:Language. The second way of doing it would be using div code. This is helpful if you also want other items in that box. To do this, insert the code

<div style="float:right; padding-left:5px;">

Following that, insert the code

{| style="text-align:left; border:1px solid #aaaaaa;
background-color:#f9f9f9;width: 200px;font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"
|- padding:5px;padding-top:0.5em;font-size: 95%;
|

below it. You now have a fairly basic infobox set up. Following that, add the languages. You would do this by inserting a section such as

|-
|{{user en}}
|-
|{{user de-1}}
|-

In the other sections of the infobox, you may throw in any items you wish (such as pictures). To end the infobox, insert the code

|}

Once you have completed that, the language (along with anything else) box will be complete. For the actual user page section, many people put in items such as About Me, useful links, and To do. Under the sections you put in, put what you want and save your user page.
