Lazing, or lazing about, is the act of not performing a duty puzzle while on board a ship. Lazing about on a player ship usually results in a planking after a while, since it lessens the effectiveness of the ship, while lazing about on a navy ship usually only results in a mean /tell from one of the NPPs of the ship and has no detrimental effect on the ship.

Swabbies can be ordered to laze about from their radial menu, but not from the normal swabbie order menu.
