Alfwyn (talk • contribs) – This user shows extreme effort in improving Yppedia. He edits and creates pages daily and is also heard though many articles talk pages. Although he has not yet to create any custom pages other then pirate/crew/flag, he is somewhat qualified through the effort he makes into making Yppedia a better place. In addition he also has uploaded numerous portraits which are an effort to make Yppedia articles look a lot better. If this pirate is an Administrator, Yppedia would be a lot more organized and pirates would be able to find information more quickly. Instantflash 08:39, 9 February 2008 (PST)

Thank you for recognizing my effort, it is appreciated. But I think an RfA at a later time would be better for two reasons. I'm relatively new to yypedia and still trying to get a feeling for policy related issues. And while I currently have the time and energy, I don't know if this is going to be a long term dedication yet.

Anyway, I think there is not so much that would require me to be an admin at the moment. The deletion of the odd duplicate image or orphaned redirect after move were being handled by other folks quite on time so far.
