Varekai (Sage)

Varekai was the former captain of the crew Spirit of Fire. He was a pirate on the Sage Ocean. He was often referred to as Vare by his closest friends and crew members. Varekai put into port at Admiral Island. Despite the common name, he was of no relation to the Varekai of the Hunter Ocean. As of the 6th of September, 2007, he no longer exists.

A Conflicted Life
Varekai began his career on the Sage Ocean as cabin person for The Dangerous Detectives, at that time under the flag Illium Eternae. He steadily began through the ranks until he reached officer, at which point he held until they merged with Hooksx of Sage.
After jobbing with the crew The Automatic, Varekai swiftly left his first crew and joined this new one, rising almost instantly to senior officer. His former crew wasn't angered by this, they understood his sudden departure.
Only several days after this, Varekai teamed up with his friend Lumo and they formed the crew known as Spirit of Fire. Varekai instantly became captain, Lumo becoming his First Mate. But then Varekai was given overall command when Lumo decided it was time to leave.
This however, was doomed to fail and Varekai had to merge with his hearty's crew, The Crazy Coconuteers. But more events occurred and now he is found as a member of the crew Nobody's Fools, renamed Seven Deadly Sins.
A Quiet End
As time went on, Varekai appeared less and less. He took up his role as a simple officer of the crew Battle Ahead, appearing from time to time to give advice and help around the ocean. His last major role on the oceans was as a participant in Armgageddon 2006 as a member of Doom Flume.
