Pirate-This position requires that you have at least board experience and/or standing of proficient.
Officer-This position requires some skill in the basic puzzles and bnav. Bnav is a must to be considered for this position. When or if you lead pillages, we need them to be somewhat successful. In order for our crew to grow people outside of the crew will need to be respected.(if you own a boat you will be considered for promotion to officer with the title of midshipmen so you can pilly only on your own boat).
Fleet Officer-This position is where you need to start showing a lot of skill in the basic puzzles and bnav. Trust plays largely into this. This is basicly the Senior Officer rank.
Senior Officer-This position is only for a select few who have earned the respect and trust of the Captian and the other SO's. Don't expect to be promoted to this position.
Captian- Only the most awesome people (like Velholobo)can hold this position. Basicly.....Doubt it.
We (Dingfries, Dwight, Lilbrodog, and Velholobo) have left the ranks vague. This is because we will decide if you are ready for a position. If you think you deserve the next rank, ask once and ONLY once. Begging will hurt you more than it will help you. And, of course, there are exceptions, but don't bother to ask about then. We will decide if you qualify for an exception.
