Since we have a handful of pages that are protected due to either being linked to from official docs (Ocean merge) or transcludes them entirely (Ban), I thought this template might be useful, especially in the case of older pages where the protection log note doesn't show in the history. Feel free to voice thoughts here on the template itself. One note: Since this template is not intended to be widespread use (only a few pages are protected in this manner), I'm not going to be doing subtemplates for it, so the second parameter is freeform intentionally. --Thunderbird 01:10, 14 October 2013 (PDT)

Old discussion for a previous sandbox version

Do we need to specify what type of building is dusted or just that it is a dusted building on that ocean. The existing generic dusted building category that was set up for the Viridian was Category:Viridian Ocean dusted building. -- Cedarwings ^(talk) 20:50, 22 February 2008 (PST)

Ended up having to refine the template a bit more since my original fix for the problem I was running into caused a bunch of blank space to be left when parts were undefined. But it seems to be in good shape now. --Thunderbird 00:53, 26 February 2008 (PST)
