Just FYI, you can use the "Show preview" button next to the Save page button. It will allow you to view what your changes would look like before actually saving the page.
Before you start doing a lot of editing, you might want to take the Wikipedia Tutorial and the Notes for new users. They give a lot of basic info you'll want to get you oriented with wikis and YPPedia. For an example of a flag page with sections, try Notorious Fandango.
