From YPPedia

Ahoy! Nice to see you working on an article for your pirate. Just to let you know, though, the YPPedia policies do not allow separate pages for pets. Since all your rat does it follow you around and squeak when someone talks to it, that's hardly notable enough to require its own page. I've added your rat to the infobox on your pirate page - you'll need to enter in the correct colour yourself. Fair winds! --Belthazar451 10:40, 5 June 2008 (PDT)

Trophies

Ahoy there! Please don't alter any information on the trophy page until a consensus on the accuracy of the information has been reached in the trophy speculation thread. Your edits have been reverted. Fair winds! -- Cedarwings (talk) 12:59, 14 June 2008 (PDT)

Regarding Yarrby

Ahoy there! Standard practice on the YPPedia is to have all alts (including other ocean pirates) of a pirate on the same page as that pirate. I merged your split of your pirate article for this reason. --Thunderbird 15:46, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

I moved it back into other page again. Sorry. lol

I just deleted your page on Doubyarrby for the same reason as outlined above. Please do not create pages for your alts, add them to the page on your pirate. I did add Doubyarrby to the infobox on your main pirate, however. --Thunderbird 00:24, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

I have deleted the Screenshots section on your pirate page for a second time. YPPedia is not an image hosting service. Do not re-add this section to your pirate page. --Thunderbird 23:59, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

Oh sorry. In the history it said i removed it. I thought i had removed it by mistake.

Image issues

From Yarrby: Me and Poseidon Image:Me and poseidon.jpg (I am having a prob uploading. It says: File is corrupt. How can i get it on here?????

Possible solution: Check that it's not a .png image. If you try to upload a .png to a spot on the server called something.jpg, the wiki software will make a big fuss. --Belthazar451 22:27, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

New portrait on pirate page

I've uploaded the only other portrait in your gallery for your page. I'm assuming that's the one you wanted. If you still see the old one, ctrl+F5 should work to force a refresh on the page to let you see it. --Fannon 03:52, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

Portraits

Only a single portrait is allowed for a pirate article under the name of Pirates-Piratename.jpg. There is a link to your pirates' galleries in the infobox where people can see the other portraits. We have deleted the additional portraits that you uploaded. Please do not upload any more of them. --Guppymomma 21:14, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Contest entry images

1) All contest images should be prefaced with Art-Skunkbeard9- and then the name of the file. 2) The YPPedia is not free web hosting. All images other than the final photograph should be hosted somewhere else. 3) Given the above the images you uploaded earlier today will be deleted inside a week's time. Only the final photograph of the contest entry should be re-uploaded to the YPPedia under the proper naming format. --Fiddler 21:16, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Sapphire oceam

Ahoy. I've moved your article to User:Skunkbeard9/Sapphire Ocean (unofficial). If this is an entry for the Design your own ocean layout contest you need to follow the instruction in the contest post. If not, it still belongs in your user space. --Fiddler 05:47, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

THank You.
And it was for that contest at first, untill i saw iwas closed. Now im just doing it in my free time for fun. --Yarrby 1:50 AM EST, 6 September 2008
This contest? It's open until the end of September. --Belthazar451 06:18, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
oops :-P thx fer pointhing that out. I thought it was november! lol --Yarrby 3:02 AM EST, 6 September 2008

Spoiler policy

I have deleted Art-Skunkbeard9-Y!PPToolsrichroom.jpg because some of the items in that scene violate the wiki's spoiler policy. Do not re-upload the image.--Fiddler 01:06, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

oh :-( didnt realizes that was a spoiler

ill edit that out

Warning

Do not create articles with the sole intention of defaming another pirate. Whether or not the information is true, it has no place on the YPPedia. --Thunderbird 23:19, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

Trinkets

Instead of uploading pointless images like Image:Singlepie.jpg, why not simply use the already-existing {{Colorize trinket}} (Usage) template? Viz:

Item box unequip.png
Colors-trinket-Pie.png

--Belthazar451 22:48, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Oh, sry. Didnt know that existed. changing template and deleting image --Skunkbeard9 23:58, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Image Note

We prefer to have images in the PNG format. The JPGs you have uploaded have noticeable issues with artifacts, issues that we prefer to avoid. --Thunderbird 22:35, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Blocked for a week

You have received numerous reminders to be more cautious in edits. However, it does not appear that you have heeded these, as others have continually had to clean up your edits afterwards. You have been given a week block to consider your actions. --Thunderbird 22:50, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Warning

Please watch your tone when you leave edit summaries and messages on other user talk pages. While Mommgod did vandalize your pirate page, you were over the line in referring to him as an idiot in your edit summary removing the vandalism. Your message left on his talk page was also over the top. --Thunderbird 06:08, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Sorry im just a little frustrated with mommgod --Skunkbeard9 16:33, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
I realize there is a history with you and Mommgod but please allow us, the admins, to take the serious tone. You have been warned before about the messages that you are leaving for others, please don't allow a personal attack like this to be the cause of a block against yourself. Next time take a deep breath and re-read what you are typing before committing to the edit. And if you cannot maintain your composure, leave a message for the admins, we will deal with it. -- Cedarwings (talk) 16:56, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
I will do my best on that. A question real fast, can you mute the edits of a person from a page? --Skunkbeard9 talk 17:58 28 March 2024 (UTC)

Signature

By the way, your current signature's date and time stamp are always going to remain the current date and time, they do not leave the date and time that you left the message. -- Cedarwings (talk) 17:06, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Oh. I did not know that. I guess ill just stop using that.
