Ahoy there! Well done on The Keelhaulers article! But next time, please try to use the "Show preview" button rather than redoing and saving the page, it cuts down on the recent changes spam. :) —Sivius(T/C) 04:07, 21 May 2006 (PDT)
Re:Tweaking
In that case, if it's not part of the public statement - it has no place on the article. That type of content isn't really appropriate for a crew article. --Sagacious (talk) 12:12, 23 May 2006 (PDT)
- I'd recommend putting the officer training info in User:Nomekop185 so that you can still have it handy for crew use. It's not crew information and really does not belong with the crew information, in my opinion. --Demonyaj 12:16, 24 May 2006 (PDT)
Keelhaulers
Sorry to be a bother, but I'm going to ask you to please take a look at this page. It's the edit history of the Keelhaulers article. Now, I haven't counted how many edits there are, but it goes without saying... way too many. I've protected the article to get your attention, as you have been warned about this in past and it doesn't seem to have had an effect. I will be unprotecting it in a few hours.
When I unprotect it, please use the preview button. It's not enough to apologize, we need you to improve your editing habits. Plan your edits so you don't have to come back hours later to add major sections. Use the preview button instead of just saving the page, because it keeps the administrators and other users sane and the recent changes list (which is a core, absolutely vital moderation tool) clean. Personally, I really appreciate that you're putting so much effort into your crew's article... so many crew pages are just "I'm the captain of this crew. Yay!" and nothing more. But please make an effort to use the preview button in future, for everyone's sake :-/ --Ponytailguy 12:20, 23 May 2006 (PDT)
- Just to expand on my earlier message. That section about training will probably be removed. It's because if it's not on the public statement - it really doesn't fit into the article. Articles should be made up of encyclopedic and factual info, and the furthest we go to allowing anything different is what is included in a crew or flag's Public Statement. Fair winds! --Sagacious (talk) 12:27, 23 May 2006 (PDT)
