Edit Frequency

Ahoy! I was going through the recent changes, and I ran across the edits to Know. If you'd like to see the page history, take a look here, and I think you can see why it's sticking out at me :-/. I don't want to discourage you from editing, because it's good to see you putting so much effort into improving this page... but it's always good wiki practice to get into using the Preview button instead of just posting stuff directly, because that way you know if you like what you're about to post before you actually do, so you can catch things like spelling/grammar, line breaks, formatting, and so on without having to waste time and effort making tons of minor edits. In any event, welcome to the YPPedia, and good luck in future! -- Cedarwings (talk) 06:41, 13 March 2008 (PDT)

Multiple pets

To add more then one pet into your infobox you first need to remove the existing pet and add the following custom section to the infobox.

|custom=
<div style="margin-bottom:3px;">
{{My pets/start|width=100%}}
{{My pets/label|[[Image:Pets button.png]]}}
{{My pets|Lil' Bits|Rat|beige}}
{{My pets|Asesin|Dog|silver|tan}}
{{My pets/end}}
</div>

Good luck! -- Cedarwings (talk) 06:54, 13 March 2008 (PDT)

Further editing

While you seemed to acknowledge the frequency that you were editing the page Know, you have not paid any attention to what was asked in the above warning message. If you continue with your minor edits you may be temporarily blocked from editing the Yppedia. I understand that you are trying to improve the page but might I recommend opening up a 2nd web browser so you can look at other Yppedia pages for improvement ideas while previewing the additions to Know on the other browser window.

Furthermore, some comments on your editing. Unless it is used as the first word in a sentence or in a possesive nature, ranks, titles and ship types, such as captain, are not to be capitalized. Articles should only be linked to once on a page. And lastly, for now, ranks should be linked to rather then in italics and an image of that rank is not necessary. -- Cedarwings (talk) 09:52, 13 March 2008 (PDT)

Warning banner on Know

Ahoy. I've removed the warning banner on the page Know, because all pages are subject to editing by any user. This is indicated in the warning at the bottom of all editing windows: "If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly and redistributed at will, then don't submit it here." Thank you.
