User talk:Alfwyn/Mix and Match
From YPPedia
I tried to explain the procedure I usually use at User:Alfwyn/Mix and Match. Is that helpfull/understandable ? --Alfwyn 21:52, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
- Just a few things - white-and-transparency doesn't really show up too great on a white background. And the text seems to be going underneath the Rowmask2 image. Also, it's spelt "menu". Otherwise it looks good, if a shade more complicated than what I'd normally do. Though considering what I normally do can get kind of tedious, perhaps I should try the complicated method instead. =) --Belthazar451 23:05, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
- It seems that my IE6 is playing tricks on me with the transparency, I guess I'll use some background color different from white for those images. Anyway, I have to think a bit more about the article, since what I really explain is how I would go about creating a colorchart from scratch. If I add just two more colors, I don't really recreate all the existing entries, but use some adhoc techniques similar to those mentioned. --Alfwyn 12:02, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
