Puzzle Pirates is a game where many people from around the world can chat with each other, so naturally some forms of virtual dating take place. While the game does not state a pirate’s martial status, there are two trinkets that can be purchased from the Palace shoppe; the Band and the Gemstone ring. Some pirates even offer wedding services...for a fee. Some choose to preform the ceremony out at sea, or on an island; namely Nupital Island for Midnight. Originally, a grand frigate called the Lovestruck Leviathan could be taken out on a romantic cruise, but that service was discontinued. Starting with one of the first weddings, Duncan & Ursela's Wedding, and continuing to the more current wedding on the left…in-game weddings have never gotten a coded function and are just a role-playing activity. Many want weddings to be coded into the game, but this is not feasible as it brings up the issues of divorces (Who gets the elephant?) and shared Global Purse’s (Did ye take that 2,000 PoE, dear?).
