We are the few. We are the proud. We are Royal Brigadiers of our King’s Royal Navy.

Policy: Autocratic

Payment: Rank’s Privilege

Public Statement

The Royal Brigadiers are a crew dedicated to good performance in pillaging across the ocean and in having fun doing so. However, your fun does not supersede the wishes of the superior crewmen. Your superior Officers must be obeyed at all times. On pillages, the people to treat as Captain are the Chief and Commanding and Executive Officers (CO, XO - CO aka OIC). We will be based on Admiral Island.

Our fame across the seas will allow us to eventually blockade and win islands. As such, there are certain rules to be obeyed. Please ask permission to board before just hopping on a ship. That is extremely rude.

In pillages, the Commanding Officer and his second, the Executive Officer, will be broadcasted on crew chat. Their orders are not to be challenged unless the puzzle you are ordered to is your worst. During battle, you must stay at your station unless ordered. Leaving in battle against brigands or barbarians is tolerated with only a -1, no matter how many times this happens. In a Player vs. Player battle, records are made on Myrrlyn’s computer of these events. First warning: -1. Second warning: -2. Third warning: demotion. Fourth warning: two demotions. Fifth warning: Expulsion. For Officers and Pirates, expulsion will occur on Warning 4. Cabin People are expelled on Warning 3. Over time you may be re-promoted.

Ranking Requisites

Contracted Jobbing Pirate You are basically a standard jobber, except you specifically tell the officer you will job with us at any time. The officer will eventually get word to me and I will post your name below. You need Novice/Able or better in all stats. You may apply to join any time.

Cabin Person You can only sail, bilge, or work on carpentry without an order. You need Novice/Able or better in all stats. This is your automatic rank when you join the crew.

Pirate You may gun without order, but please ask first. You need Broad/Distinguished in Sail, Bilge, Carpentry, and Narrow/Master in Gunnery. Pirate Badge: 1 Doubloon, 30 log-in days.

Officer You may run pillages on any unlocked ship. You must have Narrow/Respected Battle Navigation, Broad/Respected in Duty Navigation. You must also be in the crew for one month and be trusted by the Senior Officers and myself. Officer Badge: 8 Doubloons, 30 log-in days

Fleet Officer You must have Broad/Respected in Battle and Duty Navigation, Solid/Master in all piracy stats, with only one exception besides Swordfighting and Rumble. For instance, mine is Carpentry. You must have a ship of any type. You must be in the crew for two months and be exceptionally well trusted by the Senior Officers and myself because you have access to the coffers in unlocked ships. Officer Badge: 8 Doubloons, 30 log-in days.

Senior Officers You must have Weighty/Grand-Master in one piracy stat, Weighty/Renowned in the rest (one exception allowed), Swordfighting and Rumble excepted. These must be Narrow/Renowned. You must also have a ship larger than War Brig. Because of your importance in leading pillages and running the crew, the rest of us and myself must trust you and you must have been in the crew for six months. Senior Officer Badge: 10 Doubloons, 30 log-in days.

Captain If you really want this rank, go start your own crew. You will be offered a position in User:Myrrlyn/King's Royal Navy when you are applicable. Captain’s Badge: 20 Doubloons, 30 log-in days.
