The Spiffy Bow Ties was founded by Captain Patcheye and Senior Officer Fabio, two Beta players and longtime internet friends. Their primary method of recruiting new crewmates was through people who were tickled by the crew name on the notice board, and couldn't help but click "Apply."

Crew Information
The official crew colors are every color, by order of Captain Patcheye, despite multiple requests by design-minded SOs to narrow it down a little. The public statement has remained short but sweet for much the same reason. The official crew shanty is "Peace, Love, and Understanding," but Cleaver help you if you mention that in crew chat. Everything else in the crew is flexible, if you can get it past Senior Officer Msviolaceous.
