The Spanish Inquisition was founded in the year 2003 on December 13 by Seatiger. Shortly after that, Fizz joined the crew. In May of 2004, Seatiger had real life engagements and handed the crew over to the capable hands of first mate, Fizz. In the fall of 2005, Seatiger became captain again. In Feburary of 2006, Seatiger handed the captain hat back to Fizz. In early January 2007, she returned the hat back to Seatiger. Seatiger went dormant, Fizz took captain back, mid 2007. Fizz passed the captain's hat to Hyacinth on May 8th, 2009.
