The Light Brigade was a flag on the Sage Ocean. It was founded on August 20, 2005 by Captain Tealbeard of the Lost Lot. The name comes from the poem The Charge of the Light Brigade by Alfred, Lord Tennyson.

The Light Brigade was the first player-controlled flag on Sage to colonize an island, Isle of Kent. The Light Brigade also won Spaniel Island two weeks after, making it the flag that was first to colonize both islands. The Light Brigade's former monarch, Helystra, was the Governor of Spaniel Island.

History

10-Dec-2005: Following the resignation of Tealbeard due to real-life stresses, the flag changed monarchs for the first time. Helystra defeated Killercat in an election to choose the next monarch.

22-Dec-2005: The crew Noble Knights merged with Hell's Angels.

29-Dec-2005: The crew The Pillaging Privateers left the flag. Queen Anne's Revenge announced their intent to leave the flag.

01-Jan-2006: (approximate) Queen Anne's Revenge left the flag. The crew The Green Sea Dragon merged with The Lost Lot.

15-Jan-2006: (approximate) The Lost Lot left the flag and joined Go with the Flow.

02-Feb-2006: Hell's Angels left The Light Brigade and formed the flag Hell's Wrath.
