Public statement

This crew was created at 23:59:58 of May 18th by Lonelywolf! Well, that's unimportant to most readers though right?

The captain and founder of this crew, Lonelywolf, is writing this following introduction, dedicated towards all the readers:

"Ahoy, ye puzzle loving Pirates! We be the legends of the sea, the safeguards of power, the fun and legendary Corsairs!

We are a pillaging oriented crew, and personally, I'm an 'elite-pillages' addict! I had first hit the Midnight ocean 4 years ago and after a variety of fun, sadness, adventures and turmoil, I set my ship's sails wide apart to every Hunter pirate seeking fun, fame and wealth!"

The following information shall contain some very useful things which one should note, both when jobbing and when joining:

PROMOTIONS

The promotions are rather strict, and the Captain has set them as a guideline for everyone to read. I can tell you, that those are the MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS. Asking to be promoted without having attained any of them won't get you anywhere, I'll hopefully be meeting some nicely educated and mature pirates on my way. These be the nucleus of our crew, The Legendary Corsairs!

Following are all the ranks, and what is required to join us!

CABIN PERSON := Have a pillage with us, show determination, ask an officer or higher to let you join the crew, and you'll have achieved this starting rank! It is also possible to join my sending a tell to the CAPTAIN OR a Senior Officer, to join. They will probably let you in, unless you're far too rude and try threatening some of them. Note: Threats get you nowhere, or at most, banned.

PIRATE := Be mature, active and friendly! Have a MASTER IN GUNNERY, easily achievable by just filling 4 guns with the navy. You can, if you are not good at gunnery, have a GRAND MASTER in any other PIRACY skill.

OFFICER := Ok, this will be rather hard to achieve... But everyone will make it with the right thought and dedication! First of all, don't consider asking if you don't have the following:

RENOWNED Battle Navigation and Gunnery.
MASTER Swordfighting and/or Rumble.
MASTER in Navigation, unlike yer Captain who's too lazy to do that!

Show HUGE amounts of determination, maturity, responsibility, activity and skill! You ask, and I'll give ye a nice shady hat and yer officer! Note: Officer require some things too to help them out in some cases. These are listed in the EXTERNAL NOTES.

FLEET & SENIOR OFFICER := These ask for legendaries in yer piracy skills, and to be trusted your captain, along with respect towards every other pirate in the whole ocean! These two ranks are the "Pillars" of TLC. Doing a little mistake results in a big one, because the Captain won't allow immature behaviour from high ranked crew members. The crew relies on these 2 ranks more than anything, and any questions laid to Officers will be directed towards these two. Activity is a must, you must have contacts, very high standings, exceptional determination, intelligence and willing to sacrifice some of your time to recruitment and crew organization.

UNIVERSAL RULES

These rules apply to every crew member, regardless of rank. When ye ask to join, the first thing ye should do is make sure you have read, understood, and AGREED to the following rules:

1: No unnaccaptable verbal language.

2: Respect towards everyone.

3: Ask PTB <vessel name> before boarding a ship, and AWAIT AN "ALLOWED" OR "GRANTED" reply from the Officer in Command. If you're on a pillage and you're not an Officer in Command and you allow it, you'll probably be demoted. Only make an intervention when asked by the OiC, even if s/he is a lower rank than you!

4: No spamming in vessel chat while on a pillage. Applies to WBs, WFs and GFs. No punishment, as I hope that no such thing will ever happen.

5: No lazying while on a pillage! NEVER! You'll get planked, added to the QuarterMaster blacklist, and ye'll have lost yer chance to join us forever!

6: No bugging/threatening of Officers to gun or battle nav. Most of all, don't ask to be promoted except to the Senior Officers and the Captain, ONLY!

7: Show maturity if you want to retain or advance in your position.

8: Have fun! If ye don't, stop playing this game!

9: Take it to tells! Don't flood crew/vessel chat needlessly, that is only on War Brigs, War Frigates and Grand Frigates.

OFFICER RULES

These rules apply onlly to Officers:

1: Own your own ship. If you want to set sail, you'd better be betting your luck on getting one.

2: If you are given permission to sail on another ship and you have agreed and all, make sure that after the pillage, the bnavver restocks to the previous amounts

3: Restock rates are SUGGESTED (note forced) to be: 50 FINE RUM and 250 CANNONBALLS

4: Unlocked ships are NOT UNDER MY RESPONSIBILITY! If you lose something, YOU'RE the one to petition to OM for refund, and YOU'RE the one who'll lose 25% of em, not me, or any Senior.

5: NEVER SET SAIL IF YOUR TITLE IS MIDSHIPMAN. It means I decided that you're still in training. If you get caught in a PvP and lose it, you either pay the Captain 2k PoE, or get demoted, if your lucky enough for me not to expell you, to Cabin Person.

6: Treat lower ranked pirates WITH UTMOST RESPECT. Be their friends, not their boss. If you follow the Captain's example, you'll understand well what that means.

7: Sloop pillages should be mostly dedicated towards Elite Pillages. If you're not doing an elite pillage, please STATE SO by shouting ONCE in crew chat. This crew is mainly elite pillaging oriented, so it's more common elite pillages than normal ones.

8: Whenever a GREETER PILLAGE is being run, there must be the OiC, or better bnavver, and the helper. The helper must be good at all stations, he must be efficient and can optimize the ship's performance as fast as possible, to avoid the greenies from having a bad experience.

9: PvPs are allowed to be taken. Losses happen, but I want losses to be balanced. If someone lost a battle, that someone would do good to win one, possible two or more.

10: Ships must never be docked at uninhabitable islands, or if they are, the person in their charge is the owner of the ship, and can easily whisk to them when the need arises.

EXTERNAL NOTES

- Joining our crew is done by participating in a pillage and then, AT THE END, ask the Officer in Command or any other officer to join. This will get you to Cabin Person, possibly a pirate. If you want to further rise the ranks, you'll have to talk with a Senior Officer or the Captain himself. Don't waste their time by useless comments such as "Promote me to Officer please." Being polite helps, but if your profile doesn't surpass our Minimum requirements, back away and chill.

- Officers are suggested in getting QM II. A third party program by Soar. It is very helpful while on pillages. IT IS A MUST FOR OFFICERS IN TRAINING!

- Don't ask Officers+ to enter without having pillaged. If you can't pillage but still want to join us, talk to Lonelywolf or another Senior Officer.

Activities

Currently None. Scheduling some War Frigate pillages later on, when the crew has expanded.
