The Instinct is a crew on the Ice Ocean and was founded on January 28, 2009 by Cheifthunder. When Cheifthunder was no longer able to actively play due to a subscription running out, Spyagent took over as captain. At this point, the crew is typically dormant due to members being busy with their main oceans, and not much being tested. But we anticipate at one point we will return to being active.

Extended Public Statement
Ahoy. As the public statement says, our main concern is having FUN. Ice is not an ocean to get caught up in political entanglements, but rather a getaway from production and a place we can unite for fun. If you share in this common interest, we urge you to consider joining our crew. We value qualities such as loyalty, respect, and hard work. We do lots of things as a crew/flag and enjoy ourselves in a fun environment. If your about backstabbing and ruining this ocean, i urge you to look elsewhere. Here is some rank information that might assist you. <3

Cabin Person: Not used except for punishment.
Pirate: Auto
Officer: Simply let me know your main ocean and pirate there so I can check it. If you have acceptable expierence there, you may be officer.
Fleet Officer: Be in the crew for a bit, so we are able to get to know you better. Pilly lots, recruit, and generally help the crew, and be a good example.
Senior Officer: Be VERY active (logging atleast once a day) and be very trusted and active in helping with the crew. This is hand picked by the captain only, please do not ask for this rank.
- RULES
We do ask you follow a few rules when jobbing.
- Respect all pirates aboard that pillage.
- Listen to the OIC (Officer in Charge)
- Do not curse, spam, or generally annoy fellow pirates.
- Do not ask to bnav- the OIC will contact you if he wishes for you to bnav.
- Stay stationed well the whole time and follow the OIC's instructions on which station to man.
- Team well in battles.
Failure to follow these rules could result in the OIC planking you. If you follow these rules the pillage will be much more enjoyable for everybody!
