The Flying Dutchmen is a crew on the Cobalt Ocean. It currently flies the flag of the same name, The Flying Dutchmen.

About the Dutchmen

The Flying Dutchmen is a mature crew with a structure of oligarchy, whose colors are aqua and orange. All crew members are highly encouraged to wear the colors with pride! We have a focus on supporting all of our crew, through advice and training.

If you have any questions please ask a Senior officer or the commander of your pilly. On a brig or larger ship please do not direct comments, questions and tells the navigator if at all possible.

As of 17 June 2008, The Flying Dutchmen were ranked 5th highest crew on the Cobalt Ocean.

Policy and Procedures

If ye wish to be a part of our crew, we do have standards to be met. Unfortunately, Yarrmate and Dreadopus lower these standards, so most pirates are OK!

• Ye must, at all times, be respectful of fellow crew members .
• Ye may not abuse, swear, or spam crew or flag Chat.
• Ye may not leave the ship during battle (unless an emergency) or risk reducing your cut in the plunder.
• When given orders from a superior officer ye must follow them or be planked.
• In order to gun on a pilly ye must at least be of master rating or get clearance from a superior officer.
• Helms of all ships must be kept unlocked during pillages as a safety measure.

Stalls run by the crew

We currently have a large number of stalls that are owned and managed by the crew. They are listed on the flag page.

We wish to support our stall owners, and so we strongly encourage all subscribed crew to help with the labour at our stalls and to purchase from them when possible.
