Rank Requirements
Pirate: two neophyte or above in experience and at least one distinguished.
Officer: Officers must be able to be good leaders. They must stay calm and not shout or cuss at their crew members. Stat requirements are broad in sailing, bilging, carpentry, and duty navigation. An officer must be at least neophyte in battle navigation and have a decent understanding of it. In gunning you must be at least distinguished. If you own a ship or are all around good (without broad standing) you can still be an officer, but it is up to the captain to think you're ready. Officers can lower or raise the standing of the crew (for instance dread pirates to scoundrels) so you will be tested on your battle navigation skills.
Fleet officer: To be an FO in this crew you must be able to lead a sloop pillage and at least use double gun ships. You also must be able to take over for the captain when he can't do something. The captain needs to trust you as well and you must be with the crew a minimum of one day. Stat requirements are broad duty nav, carpentry sailing, bilging, bnav, and gunning. Also try to get distinguished in most of these, as you represent the crew.
Senior officer: This is the highest rank you can get in any crew so it is hard to get. The requirements are: you must have been with the crew at least a week, broad in all skills except rumbling and treasure hauling, you must be trusted, and you must be at least distinguished in most stats (this may change from pirate to pirate depending on skill). This rank shows off the best of the best in the crew so you must be responsible, nice, and polite even when someone isn't polite to you. Having this rank is a privilege so it is hoped that you will take the responsibility of this job and have pride in what you are. SOs also must have the required badge and should pillage often.
Titles
Titles in this crew are used to show how good you are and how much trust and respect you have earned within the crew. The highest title given by the captain is lieutenant.
