Public Statement

You are Engulfed by Darkness... Haunted by the Shadows of the Past... You see a Glimmer of Light... Is it a Trick of the Eye? Are we Bringing Hope or Are We Bringing Terror? Are we taking away the Shadows or Adding to them?

Extended Public Statement

A mysterious new beginning, preparing to unleash its wrath upon the great Sage ocean. We are the beginning to a new chapter of Sage, ready to attack upon the unexpected. We have come to prevail, in a battle against the ocean, facing every unexpected task with great ease. We are here to release the long needed terror upon the great ocean. Where we shall begin is a mystery. We are prepared to dive, deep into the depths of Sage, sailing our way through uncharted territories, ready to conquer all. We are delivering the greatly anticipated wake-up call that Sage yearns to see. The veil has been lifted, so watch your backs, because terror has been set free.

Promotion Requirements

  • Cabin person- Punishment rank.
  • Pirate- Starting rank. Whilst a pirate, show the crew that one has potential and are capable of following orders.
  • Officer- Being an officer requires trust from the captain, and the other officers. Some Battle Navigation experience would be nice, yet it is not a requirement. Show the crew that one is a trustworthy member, and responsible enough to handle the powers an officer has. Would be wise to read this article if wanting to be an officer: Sloop pillaging guide
  • Fleet officer- Full trust is required for this position. Battle Navigation experience is also required, and the ability to command a ship. Fleet officers have a lot of power, show the crew that one is capable of handling it all.
  • Senior officer- To be a senior officer, pirates must have the captain's complete trust, as well as that of fellow officers. Pirates must be an individual who the captain, or any other crewmate, can come to for help or advice. Pirates must be an active member who is dedicated to the crew. Another note to senior officers, although they have the power to promote to fleet officer, the captain requests that they only promote to officer, and let the captain know if they want to promote someone to fleet officer, and the captain will decide if that happens or not. Likewise with promoting to senior officer.
  • Captain- Shall anything happen and the captain cannot lead the crew, one of the senior officers will take over.

Other Information

  • In this crew, socializing is always welcome, and encouraged at all times.
  • Poking the crew to get their attention is always welcome, and the captain will do it frequently.
  • Crew members who need any tips or advice for any puzzles, let the captain know who will direct them to the right pirate(s).
  • When the flag is at war, all officers and above are asked to use their own ships, to prevent sinking somebody else's ship, unless given specific permission from the owner of the vessel. If a ship is sunk during war, and a pirate did not have permission from the owner to use the ship, they will be demoted, and responsible for replacing the ship. Failure to do so will result in expulsion.
  • Another note to all pirates and officers, if they want to practice their Battle Navigation, but aren't very good, the captin will set a ship to greeter pillage, so they can practice without wasting any money on stock. Just send the captain or any other greeter officer in the crew a tell to set the ship to greeter pillage.
  • In this crew, members should respect everyone. Failure to do so will not be taken lightly.
  • Although it is not required, it is recommended to keep one's ships unlocked while running a pillage, so in case one must log out or disconnect, another officer can take over. The captain likes seeing people keep their ships unlocked at all times, but that isn't required either.
  • Permission to board is required before hopping on ships. PTB, Permission To Board, should be asked in crew chat, just say "PTB vessel name" and the Officer In Charge will let one know if hopping on is allowed or not. Failure to ask PTB will result in plankings. This is so pirates don't get jumped when moving ships, or any other reason they may have.
  • If pirates wanna donate to crew funds, send the captain a tell. In the future, the crew plans to get ships, crew house, crew portrait, crew pets, and lots more
