Template talk:Tcomp 9 x 6 trophy
From YPPedia
This template is in need of some adjustment to properly fit the non-stretch skin. Maybe it needs to have it's axes switched? -- Cedarwings (talk) 06:36, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
- I agree it's a little too wide, but I strongly disagree with specifically catering for the non-stretch skin. It's no longer the default, and people have had six months to change over already. Thing is, I don't think doing anything major to it is exactly a viable option, as the rest would probably need changing to follow suit. --Belthazar451 12:24, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
- We still have a great number of users that are viewing pages on the Yppedia on a 1024x768 resolution and this then requires them to use a horizontal scroll which we have tried to avoid. We can get the data run again to confirm whether this should still remain a concern. I can't seem to find the last set of data (although I'm sure Faulkston could in an instant). -- Cedarwings (talk) 15:37, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
- Have a look at this version that has the axes rotated here. There are advantages and disadvantages to both versions, but I think the biggest advantage to this version is the width factor. -- Cedarwings (talk) 16:13, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
- Amoyer, yours looks great, I also have an issue with sizing because I have an 800x600 screen... it looks fine for me! Nice one. It looks better design wise as well in my mind. --Lcawte 16:17, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. It's surprising to see the number of people that are viewing pages at are 1024x768 or less (30% of hits on the main page in the last month). -- Cedarwings (talk) 19:09, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
