One suggestion: Set defaults for the 18 and 21 fields to no, and set the forum profile default to the same as the pirate name. Makes it so fewer parameters are required. Also, IMO having the 18 AND 21 fields displayed for pirates is a bit redundant (if you're over 21, I would think it's a safe bet that you're over 18). --Thunderbird 17:36, 2 April 2007 (PDT)

Not really redundant for 18 & 21 as there are such things as 18+ events. Feel free to make those changes. I've kept it complete so that a person hitting edit would see how to use the whole template from other entries if they hadn't remembered to copy the code from the beginning of the article. --Guppymomma 17:42, 2 April 2007 (PDT)

Problem with linked pirate name

This template has a problem if the piratename is supplied as a link, but no forum name is given. In that situation using the piratename as default doesn't really work. List_of_local_pirates has several such cases (under Finland, Ireland for example). --Alfwyn 20:20, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
