Template talk:My familiars

I was in the process of changing pirate pages to using the "My familiar/*" templates. But I think now would be a good time to make a few adjustments before those templates are widely used. The suggested usage is documented here, changes include:

• "My familars" and not "My familiar" to mirror "My pets" and "My trinkets".
• Lowercase of subtemplate and parameter names, again to mirror existing practice of the other "My*" templates.
• Using "{{My familiars" instead of directly using "{{!}}{{Familiar box" looks a bit tidier, even though a "{{!}}-" is still needed after every other use of the template.

If there is no opposition or better ideas I would like to make the necessary renames and change the pages currently using the existing templates.

Another point, the templates were originally designed by Lcawte, but later just copied to template space. Should we do a edit history merge for correct attribution? --Alfwyn 16:29, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
