Template talk:Administrator

From YPPedia

Why is the includeonly category for this "Official images" and not something else? That doesn't make much sense. --Thunderbird 15:56, 26 April 2007 (PDT)

Because I copied the code from an image tag and forgot to remove the category. All fixed now.--Fiddler 16:02, 26 April 2007 (PDT)

I was wondering what you intended the one variable to be used for - saying "This user is an administrator of the YPPedia and {{{1}}}" seems fairly ambiguous to me. Someone could, for a random example, say "This user is an administrator of the YPPedia and thinks he is a pink elephant from Mars." That would make little sense, but would not seem too out of context to me. :-) Bad joke aside, I'm just curious as to what you intended with that. -- Thefirstdude (t/c) 16:43, 26 April 2007 (PDT)

Player, developer, or Ocean Master. I couldn't come up with stock phrasing where you would just insert the word that didn't have stilted English, so I left it open to insert a whole phrase.--Fiddler 16:52, 26 April 2007 (PDT)
Ah, got it. Thanks! -- Thefirstdude (t/c) 16:56, 26 April 2007 (PDT)

Linky

Would it be worth linking the text "one of the player administrators" to YPPedia:List_of_administrators? --Ponytailguy 12:16, 24 May 2007 (PDT)

I thought linking the word administrator in the first sentence would've been enough.--Fiddler 12:22, 24 May 2007 (PDT)
I hadn't thought to consider that, as in context, it would seem logical for "administrator" to link to the main information page instead of to a list of administrators. --Ponytailguy 12:32, 24 May 2007 (PDT)
