Tearydaze
Tearydaze is a pirate on the Midnight Ocean, she is a senior officer in the crew Skellie Tears.
Pirate Career
Tearydaze became a member of ypp in June of '05, subbing her very first day.
On one of her very first days she helped someone sail his sloop from Endurance Island to Jorvik Island, she was offered a crew position shortly after that voyage. The crew (now disbanded) wasn't as active as she was and she found herself always pillaging with Coolhelena who was with the Mice of Vengeance flying under the Trans-Atlantic Empire flag. After a month or so, Coolhelena offered her a crew position with the Mice of Vengeance and Tearydaze quickly took her up on that offer.
Tearydaze started out quiet and with the help of the Mice showing her the ropes and she quickly became a loyal mouse, encouraging frequent pillages. In order to become an officer she had to have broad or higher in all of the piratey puzzles, with all her sea battles, she had all except one, swordfighting. She then, was determined and ended up staying up all night swordfighting until it reached broad. She then was quickly promoted to officer and started officer training, what will be the foundation to all of her success on the Midnight Ocean. Mousebeard taught her the ins and outs of the piratey puzzles and often encouraged her to strive to be the best she could be. Hinga and Cygnii often explained the tiresome sail puzzle to Tearydaze, often listening, but never understanding. Now because of that, Tearydaze is often ultimate in sails. Hinga, Cygnii and Mousebeard also showed her the shoppe keeper puzzle. And under Mousebeard's watchful eye Tearydaze opened a Distilling stall on Alpha in August of '05.
She quickly climbed the ranks becoming senior officer in Mice of Vengeance and a royal member in Trans-Atlantic Empire.
After two years, Tearydaze thought of the Mice of Vengeance as her online family, but she often wondered with her activeness if she really belonged in a crew with shopkeepers. Tearydaze pondered this over and over again, she loved the Mice, but she knew it was time to move on.
Tearydaze joined Made of Fail who was captained by Dchow. She became hearties with the people she met there, but she knew she didn't belong. After a few months, she went to Unknown Pleasures under the captain, Morgana. Again Tearydaze had great fun, but knew she didn't belong there either, and after a few weeks decided to move on.
Tearydaze then searched her hearty list for someone who she trusted and respected and as she scrolled down, found her friend, Vova. He was often the quiet one, but he invited Tearydaze on several successful Brigand King hunts. Tearydaze asked if he would mind having her aboard, and he didn't turn her down. She promptly fit in and knew that this was the right place for her.
Tearydaze is now a senior officer in Skellie Tears which sails under the Dies Irae flag. She is happy in a very active flag, no matter what time of day it is, there is always something to do. She has also became life-long friends with several of her flag mates, that she will cherish the rest of her life.
