Talk:Release/latest

From YPPedia

I ask that the change relating to the crown be made, since it violates the anti list (No religion)

The crown image here matches the one in-game...and the image was uploaded in November 2005. And it hasn't been changed before that either. --Thunderbird 17:18, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
I think you're misunderstanding the comment (or you're benevolently attempting to find some worth to it that isn't there). I don't think the comment is questioning the accuracy of the YPPedia crown image. I believe it is objecting to the propriety of the item itself. It is a violation of "YPPedia is not a forum". See this sunk thread for previous iterations of this complaint. I suggest that the original comment simply be ignored, or if the admins deem it appropriate, that this entire talk page be deleted as containing no discussion relevant to the article or appropriate for YPPedia in general. --Riz 18:30, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Wouldn't it be a good idea to include the date of the release on the "Release/latest"-page? --Froghoul 05:46, February 13, 2009 (UTC)

How about putting something like <noinclude>= Release YYYY-MM-DD =</noinclude> at the top of the article? -- Faulkston 03:38, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
i support faulkstons idea :) --randompanzy 05:51, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

http://yppedia.puzzlepirates.com/Official:Reputation

Added. -- Faulkston 04:18, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Page suggestion

I think this page should include the most recent main update, and all of the minor bugfix updates that follow it. Mainly so those who want to read about the latest big release don't have to wade for it and can just refer to here when bugfix releases show up. --Thunderbird 05:45, 23 April 2010 (UTC)

A good idea. It always bothered me to have some mostly irrelevant bugfix release showing as latest release for most of the time. --Alfwyn 12:41, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
I like it too. The only thing I would want is that a table of contents (probably {{TOCright}}) be added as with some months where the major release is lengthy or there are a lot of bug fixes, you would then be able to see a list of the current major and minor releases. -- Cedarwings (talk) 06:14, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
And 2 years later, after thinking along the same lines for the who knows how manyth time, I finally decided to just go for it. --Thunderbird 23:29, 7 August 2012 (PDT)
