Talk:Ookville

From YPPedia

Perhaps I should have said something when I removed the crew image. Well anyway, it was suggested that the Lime-Death page should have only one crew-related image on it. I saw that as a precedent and applied it to this article.

There's also the matter of the players chosen to be in the picture. The reason those pirates are in the picture and not others is not clear. From the information given, it cannot be of the 5 original crewmembers (Sweetpickles is nowhere to be seen in the image), the captain and co-captain (there are 4 characters in the image), the captain and senior officers {again, ther eare 4 characters in the image), or the entire crew (unless there are only 4 members in it). Therefore, it looked like a random image of some of the crew members not fit for an encyclopedia.

I won't delete it again just yet, in case there's a specific reason that it's there and it isn't just a picture of some of the crewmembers put up there for the sake of having that picture in the article.--Zyborg22 12:47, 10 February 2006 (PST)

Three images is kind of pushing it, in my opinion, especially without making any of them thumbnails. No other crew has three at this time. --Barrister 04:29, 11 February 2006 (PST)

I apologize, I'm still learning how this all works. Are the pictures alright under "fan art" and as thumbnails? That would be fine for me. Also, I've done my best to add links to everything I could find that would be appropriate to have one. If there's anything else wrong, please let me know. I'll be checking it. --Shiftyeyes 08:39, 6 April 2006 (PST)

I honestly do not know what else needs to be done in order for the removal of the "clean up" tag on my page. I don't like it there. I need specific instructions on what needs to be changed. --Shiftyeyes 10:31, 19 April 2006 (PST)
Just a note on the comment page to bring it to folks' attention generally will work. Just a quickie note that if you put something in the Summary field (it's right below the editing window) with something like "Can I remove the cleaup tag?" will help get it noticed faster. I think the article looks pretty cleaned up and feel that it would okay to remove the tag. On a more personal note though, I'd like it if you were to rethink that bit about "Don't be retarded" as your crew's main rule. At least a rewording. I have a niece that was born with Down Syndrome, it is actually be impossible for her to not be mentally retarded. I suppose this just means she'd never be allowed to join your crew, but on a personal level I find that rule's wording fairly offensive even if you didn't mean it that way because you didn't think it through. --Guppymomma 10:53, 19 April 2006 (PDT)
I support removing the cleanup tag. --Barrister 12:58, 19 April 2006 (PDT)

Appreciate all comments and all your help. Thanks! --Shiftyeyes 12:20, 20 April 2006 (PST)
