"Some say..."

I'm not sure what to think about this segment:

 Some say this beautiful, if barren, island is cursed, thanks to a history in the distant past. Many 
 believe that the ruins situated in the southeast corner of the isle was once a pair of great 
 structures belonging to a powerful civilization that was brought down in ways unimaginable. This 
 possible tragedy could explain the reason this red dust island seems fated to be always watered in 
 blood.

I guess it's technically true. However, Wikipedia's policy (if we're using it for everything) says not to use "weasel words" (words such as "Some say"). Should leave it as it is or change it?--Zyborg22 19:52, 11 March 2006 (PST)

Governor
