Proposing deletion

Uhm, beyond the special formatting, this page basically has no YPP information beyond potentially the pirate name, rendering it very unencyclopedic. Unless someone can find anything out about the pirate, I believe it should be deleted. --Guppymomma 20:53, 2 July 2006 (PDT)

Eh, there's this: http://viridian.puzzlepirates.com/yoweb/pirate.wm?target=Einsteindude --Zava 20:56, 2 July 2006 (PDT)
My reading of the new guidelines is that we need to give people a token amount of time to fix their articles before we baleet them. I agree, this one's not got much for it, but I'd rather be accused of handling people with kid gloves than go through another ZOGM ABUSIV ADMINS tartfest. :-/ --Ponytailguy 20:57, 2 July 2006 (PDT)
Personally I think that scant content is different than basically no content. Looking at the two articles Thunderbird just deleted by this same author, I feel even less inclined to be really optimistic in considering this article as having any content at all. --Guppymomma 21:42, 2 July 2006 (PDT)
Wait so was I right or wrong to put the tag of CSD for this article then? =P --Peterljr888 21:59, 2 July 2006 (PDT)
I think {{proposed deletion because}} is the best middle ground. Of course, we just blocked the user who created this. He'll be gone for an entire month a week. So, there's no hope that he'll fix it up. So, I think deletion is most appropriate at this time. --Barrister 22:58, 2 July 2006 (PDT)
