Talk:Construction site
Leftover commodities
From what I've been told, it's not possible to overstock a construction site on building materials. However, if a site has extra commodities transferred to it, what happens to these commodities when the site converts to a building? For situations when the finished building has a hold, that is (I assume spare commodities disappear into the drink for infrastructure buildings). --Thunderbird 2:34, 8 September 2005 (PDT)
You can transfer in extra commods. As soon as the required commodities are in the building, they get wiped, the hold has a max capacity of 0kg and 0l; any excess stays there however. The person who placed the order is the one who currently is the owner. Once the commods have disappeared, work will start once there are coffers. Any excess commods get destroyed upon the completion of the site, or at least that is the case for housing. Ask Beryl or Lucretzia for what happens with placed furni (they tested this yesterday at Chateau du PoE at Gaea). --Piplicus 10:19, 8th September 2005 (PDT)
- I looked in the construction site for Kittyn's tailor and its hold had room for stuff after the construction had started (and this was with 2 or 3 labor hours left on the construction). However, based on what happened to all of us in the site when it finished, I'd say the construction site building is destroyed and the shoppe building is generated. Whether commods are destroyed, I don't know. --Thunderbird 18:16, 16 September 2005 (PDT)
Tested: Extra commodities transferred into a construction site are transferred to the completed shoppe. However, the size of the hold of the construction site is possibly bigger than the resulting shoppe, so not sure what would happen if you have excess stock for the resulting shoppe.
- Tested: Bid tickets are also transfered from a site to the completed shoppe. --Klostro 22:41, 23 May 2008 (PDT)
