Per Sage parley, apparently the section on booty div is now incorrect; I haven't had the time to pillage in ages, so I'm not sure. Can someone in a position to know update the wiki with whatever is the most correct version? --Pauling 08:02, 1 March 2007 (PST)

While the page on Officer discusses the fact that crew cut goes to the pocket of Officers, neither the Booty nor the Booty Shares page mentions it. I'm not sure what the best way of fitting it in, but I think it's something that could easily be missed by a new officer who looks at the these two pages for help. -- Drc500free 12:38, 3 March 2006 (PST)

That work? --Teeg 15:33, 2 March 2006 (PST)

Realise my change in historical notes is somewhat redundant - still worthwhile for pointing jobbers new to the game at? Makes it more obvious. --Framling 23:17, 25 June 2006 (PDT)

I'm not sure if that's a valid enough reason for redundancy here, to be honest...Either way, I've expanded the redundant bit. (Although it's possible I might have made it too wordy to serve the purpose you wanted.) --Emufarmers 21:27, 26 June 2006 (PDT)
Hm. If I remember correctly, I've seen +2s before. Don't booty dividers have the power to up other people more that one?--Framling 13:32, 27 June 2006 (PDT)
Never mind, checked. Must have been my imagination.--Framling 02:03, 28 June 2006 (PDT)

Booty division on server reboot?

If a ship is at sea when the server reboots, it is whisked back to its last port of call. The contents of the booty are dumped into the hold, and no record remains as to what pirates were aboard or how many battles were fought. A scrupulous CO can use chat logs to recreate this information and pay jobbers. I thought this wasn't true anymore, since Release 2007-03-21. --Chupchup 13:55, 31 August 2007 (PDT)

Booty and Hold share capacity

Suggest adding a section explaining that the cargo capacity of a ship is shared between the Hold and the Booty. This was explained by OM Galene following a petition submitted after a few dozen expedition chests were not brought aboard and a message stating the booty was full. When ship is on CI at reboot

It looks like chests are autodivided after reboot. --Huhla 11:12, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
