Blacklist

I've removed the blacklist from this page. Accusations about the misdeeds of other pirates are inappropriate for a crew page, and for the wiki in general. I appreciate wanting to warn others of potential danger, but this isn't the right place for it. Sorry. --Barrister 03:02, 26 August 2006 (PDT)

RE: Blacklist

Arr... fair enough, mate. Ye don't need to apologize, 'tis I who be the one who made the error. Ye be doin' a great service to this tricky wiki. Carry on, mate! And, good job! Nordenx 05:04, 26 August 2006 (PDT)

Ship List

Ahoy! I just want to bring to your attention that lists of standard named vessels are going to be banned from YPPedia pages (see YPPedia_talk:Policies_and_guidelines). I suggest that this article be changed to reflect this change in policy. If there are any any renamed ships, these can still be listed, or better yet, integrated into the rest of the article. Fair winds! --Arminius 14:11, 5 January 2007 (PST)

Actually, the proposed policy only applies to pirate pages, not crew pages. --Barrister 14:48, 5 January 2007 (PST)
Hmmm... quite true. I will continue this issue over at YPPedia_talk:Policies_and_guidelines. --Arminius 14:51, 5 January 2007 (PST)

Then I will be keeping tabs with the proposed policy. I like to keep track of my SO's ship names in my crew page actually. But if it comes to it, I'll just keep a list in a text document instead. Also, I kinda agree about the Pirate Vanity Page not having the standard named ships, however, the custom renamed ships should be allowed (in both pirate and crew pages) as a matter of prestiege and pride. --Nordenx 21:26, 5 January 2007
